I am really excited to share this session because I loved so many of these images. On top of being totally adorable, Baby Aiden was alert and obviously so connected with his mom and dad because he was a little bit older than the typical newborns I work with. Many newborn photographers prefer to work with babies under two weeks old, but a little older than that is just fine with me because I’m more focused on capturing the family and the baby naturally in their home than spending hours perfecting newborn “poses”. This makes the session relaxing for everyone and doesn’t take too much time out of new parents’ day. That said, I always tell my clients that my clock isn’t ticking — we can take a break for feedings or diaper changes or whatever the baby needs!
