I love newborn sessions where there is an older sibling in the mix! Sometimes these sessions can be a little chaotic, but I love them because what I get to document is a slice of real life during a time that flies by in such a blur! For the older sibling this is certainly a time when there is a new little being taking up a whole lot of attention, but it’s also a time when mom and dad are around more, and when they are getting to know their sibling, who will soon be one of the most important people in their life.
I absolutley want siblings to be involved in the session, and it’s even better if I can spend a fair amount of time focusing on them in addition to the new brother or sister. I really enjoyed looking back at this session from last Spring (I can’t believe what a bad blogger I have been) and was reminded of a fun morning spent with this sweet family.
