Just after I returned from my trip to France, where we had our own photos taken, I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful French family for photos in the Boston Public Garden. They are nearing the end of their one year in Boston and will return to France in August. The three of them were quintessentially French, and really fun to work with and I loved chatting with them about their country — I love it so much! Thankfully they all speak great English, because while I do know a bit of their language, I learned that I can’t dial my camera settings, compose photos, direct clients AND speak French all at the same time!
A quick note about doing a family session in the Boston Public Garden. It is definitely a beautiful spot, however, I always recommend that sessions there take place on weekdays. If that is not possible, and you can only do a weekend, then early morning is best, before the park fills with people and the sun comes out in full force. It’s also much easier to park around the perimeter if you are driving!
No visit to Boston in complete for a toddler without the Make Way for Ducklings statues!
